The benefit of using the Pre-Prep After School Club is to allow our children to develop their social and emotional experiences by providing a stable, secure and relaxed environment where parents, carers and guardians feel satisfied to leave their children.
The After School Club is each day of the week from 3.30pm until 5.00pm throughout the school term. The children are led by a qualified member of staff who is Paediatric First Aid trained.
At the beginning of the session a register is taken and upon collection by a parent, guardian or carer the child must be signed out with a time and signature. A healthy snack and drink is offered to the children at the beginning of the session.
The club provides a safe and stimulating environment in which to play or take part in activities and crafts. There are a variety of activities on offer including arts and crafts, board games, outdoor games, swimming, construction building and role play. The children are also given the opportunity to relax or read in the ‘quiet area’ and one day of the week is ‘movie night’ which is always popular.
